my understanding they were made by a fella in Oregon, around Portland or the North coast. He may have sold out to a bigger dealer by now? Many stores sell them now like GI Joes.

I think the Alvins were bought by Brad Schoenborn (Fishing the West's Larry's son who now works at Bob's sporting goods in Longview who now has wigglewart rights...whew) and are now called Brads. They got some new packaging I see.
